Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using PocketVault ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the App. It's that simple.

What PocketVault is

PocketVault is a personal finance tracking application that runs locally on your device. It is not a financial advisor, bank, payment processor, or investment platform. The App helps you track and analyze your own financial data — all decisions remain yours.

License

PocketVault grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your personal devices. The Free tier is available at no cost, indefinitely. Premium features are available via a recurring subscription managed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

  • Free — Use forever with core features. No payment required.
  • Premium — $1/month or $12/year (or local equivalent). Access to advanced features including advanced reports, multi-currency, AI forecasting, investment tracking, P2P sync, shared expenses, and advanced import methods. Active as long as subscription is maintained.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Your data

You own your data. Fully. We can't access it, and we don't want to. Since all data is stored locally on your device:

  • You are responsible for backing up your data.
  • If you uninstall the App or lose your device, your data may be lost unless you've exported it.
  • We cannot recover your data for you — by design.

Cancellation and refund policy

You can cancel your Premium subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access to Premium features through the end of your current billing period, after which you revert to the Free tier. Your data always remains on your device regardless of subscription status.

Refund requests are handled by the respective app store. For Google Play, visit Google Play refund support. For Apple App Store, visit Apple refund support. For billing questions not addressed by the stores, contact us at support@pocketvault.finance.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Use the App for illegal financial activities.
  • Redistribute or resell the App.
  • Remove or modify any proprietary notices.

Disclaimer of warranties

PocketVault is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do our best to ensure accuracy, but we don't guarantee that financial calculations, AI categorizations, or exchange rates are perfectly accurate. Always verify important financial decisions independently.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PocketVault and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
